Where a site does not have the floor area for a long horizontal conveyor run, the material elevator raises material vertically to the next stage. It is a common solution in buildings where the available footprint is narrow.
Elevators are built to suit the machine they discharge into and the stage they draw from, so the transition is smooth and the material is not damaged or spilled in transfer.
