Uneven feeding is one of the most common causes of inconsistent output on a washing line.
Overview
The belt conveyor moves material from the loading point to the crusher or the next stage, and its real job is metering. A crusher fed in surges produces flake in surges, which then overloads the washer and the dryer downstream.
Sizing
Belt width, length and incline are set from the layout of your site and the throughput of the machine it feeds. Conveyors are built to the line rather than bought in as standard units, so the fit to your building is exact.
Construction
Fabricated frame, adjustable belt tension and a drive sized for continuous duty. Belt type is selected for the material — cleated belts for inclined runs, flat belts for horizontal transfer.
