Dry flake sells for more than wet flake — and stores far better.
Overview
The dryer spins washed flake at high speed so that surface water is thrown off through a perforated basket. Because the water is removed mechanically rather than by evaporation, the running cost is a fraction of a thermal dryer and no heat is applied to the material.
Why residual moisture matters
Moisture is weight you are shipping and paying for, it lowers the price a buyer will offer, and it causes mould and degradation if material is stored. Mechanical dewatering ahead of sale is one of the fastest-returning additions to a washing line.
Construction
Perforated basket, balanced rotor and a drive sized for continuous duty, with accessible screens for cleaning and replacement.
